The assignment was, working with clay,to create a ceramic plate,
then to create real-looking food
from clay to serve on the plate.
Expecting platefuls of steak and baked potatoes,
I was surprised by the utter lack of beef!
This younger generation is growing up with greater international tastes
than my spaghetti and chop-suey eating generation!
Among the traditional breakfast meal,
you'll find a burrito, shrimp fettuccine,
and sushi on their plates!
